THE FIRST VICTIM OF THE COLD WAR
Silence Patton asks the question: Why was General Patton silenced during his service in World War II? Prevented from receiving needed supplies that would have ended the war nine months earlier, freed the death camps, and prevented Russian invasion of the Eastern Bloc, and Stalin's murderous rampage. Why was he fired as General of the Third Army and relegated to a governorship of post-war Bavaria? Who were his enemies? Was he a threat to Eisenhower, Montgomery, Churchill, and Bradley? And is it possible as some say that the General's freakish collision with an Army truck, on the day before his departure for US, was not really an accident? Or was Patton not only dismissed by his peers, but the victim of an assassin's bullet at their behest? Was his personal silence necessary?

"If Oliver Stone ever became a
Bible scholar, he might turn out
a movie a bit like A Polite Bribe"

The Morning Call
ROAD TO VALOR
DEATH KNOWS NO RETREAT...
A Roman Centurion is about to retire after thirty years of service to Caesar. But before he can return to Rome he must complete one final campaign deep in the dark, foreboding forests of Germania. Road To Valor follows this Centurion as he faces the unspoken brutality of barbarian warfare, where only a confrontation with death awaits—and only valor can answer the call.
Road To Valor is the marriage of Robert Orlando’s longstanding love for First Century Roman history and his endless passion for gripping narratives. In addition to writing a screenplay adaption of Mark Helprin’s novel Soldier of the Great War, Orlando also composed several original screenplays about many famous battles throughout history, always exploring the ways that warfare brings forth the best and worst elements of human nature.
